The lesson this week talked a lot about the perfect love of God, becoming like Himn and loving our fellow man. Something clicked today in class. It's not a new concept but a different way to state it, i guess. You know how hearing something stated in a different way just makes the concept more clear. Like unlocking a new color for an avatar skin. It's another little bit of understanding.
God's love is perfect because He did the work. He wasn't born with perfect love. He worked for it the way He asks us to work for it now.
God did the work that He asks us to do. He knows what it takes because He's already accomplished it.
That was just a cool way to think of it. God is perfect because He's done the work.
