truly understand

What difference does it make to "really understand and embrace" that you are a child of God?  

A couple of mine are that I know how much God loves me. 

I know that a parent wants the best for their children so I can trust Him.

I want to be close to God because He is my father.

I want to go home to my Heavenly Parents.

What does it mean to you?
