as you work through the chapters of war and the stripling warriors, think of them as the few really righteous of the church in comparison to those who are fighting the good fight but not really being as strict in the commandments.
think of the modern day "few" members of the church to the rest of the world population in comparison to the strength of the lamanite armies.
as you read, think about where you lie and what you fight. i know we are all guilty of making excuses and not being strict with ourselves in obeying the commandments.
as you read, look at what it takes to be one of those few stripling warriors, what is the price they pay and what is their reward?
